What are the Hardware Requirements to run Caduceus?

We have built Caduceus MMS with ease in mind. From that standpoint, the power of Caduceus MMS is readily usable in a variety of computer environments, from older Windows 95 systems to robust, networked Windows XP computers. However, for maximum performance here are some tips:

  • Your monitor should be able to view 800x600 pixels and 256 colors (almost all monitors now do). Although you can hide the Status, Tool, and other notice bars, resolutions less than 800x600 will hamper your ability to see a full week of appointment data, and, at worst, cause you to scroll vertically to view some program windows.

  • The British Columbia Medical Services Plan has established an Internet-based TelePlan access server to handle a wealth of instant requests such as electronic eligibility checking, remittances, and code file downloading. To use this new service, users need to have some sort of Internet access (dial-up, ADSL, SPAN, etc.) Whether via online or paper submissions, Caduceus MMS is prepared to accommodate your needs.
